Veteran Hong Kong actor Law Kar-ying was spotted by tourists at a scenic spot in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Friday.

已过79岁的罗家英看起来状态不错，听到游客喊“师傅”，配合地比“耶”。

Now 79, Law appeared in good spirits. When visitors called out "Master!" — a nod to his iconic Tang Monk role — he smiled and playfully flashed a "V" sign for photos.

不只是罗家英，国庆长假期间，上海和广东等地的游客陆续在景区“偶遇”岳跃利、郑国霖、李国麟等老戏骨。他们状态不错，热情互动让年轻网友直呼“状态比我还好！”

During the National Day holiday, tourists in Shanghai and Guangdong also reported chance encounters with other veteran actors, including Yue Yueli, Zheng Guolin, and Lee Kwok-Lun. Many netizens praised their energy, joking, "They look livelier than me!"

今年5月，罗家英曾表示，自己已4次患癌，最多剩下9年寿命，已放弃化疗，引发广泛关注。

7月6日，罗家英妻子汪明荃接受采访时回应，“很平常的事！这个病情发展很慢，未来也会有很多新药，我尊重他的决定。”

Law's recent public appearance comes months after his health made headlines. In May 2025, he revealed he had battled cancer four times and decided to stop chemotherapy, with doctors estimating he could have up to nine years of life remaining.

In July, his wife, actress Liza Wang Ming-chun, said she respected his decision, noting, "The disease progresses slowly, and new treatments will come."

In August, Law told reporters he had taken out two investment-linked insurance policies with Wang as the beneficiary and purchased a studio unit for her, saying, "If anything happens, that floor is yours." He also shared his funeral plans, revealing that he intends to be buried rather than cremated. "I bought two adjacent burial plots over 10 years ago," he said, adding that he hopes to rest beside his wife.
